APA Health C.A.R.E. is proud to be one of the largest collaborations between the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, the UCLA School of Nursing, and the UCLA undergraduate colleges. Together, we make a difference.

We closely work with the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association at UCLA.

Roles of Medical and Nursing Student volunteers include:

• Conducting Blood Pressure screenings
• Counseling clients on lifestyle health modifications 
• Shadowing attending physicians on treatment counseling and behavioral modifications
• Overseeing undergraduate patient navigators

Roles of Public Health Student volunteers include:

• Counseling clients on applicable public programs
• Supervising any undergraduate referral volunteers
• Working on special public health projects, such as community and UCLA campus-wide health outreach
